If you’re more the outdoor type and enjoy natural beauty – you’re in the right place. Bangor is set in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park. It covers 25 miles of stunning landscape.

Bangor is easily accessible by road, air and sea, only 90 minutes away from Manchester Airport and a couple of hours from Dublin via the Ferry Port at Holyhead.

Regular trains and coach services run to Bangor from London, Birmingham, Liverpool and Manchester, and there is a whole host of local buses for an opportunity to explore the local area.

If you love sport and the great outdoors, then get ready for Bangor. Set in one of the best natural resources in the UK, Bangor is exceptionally well-situated and well-equipped for students interested in sport, especially those involving the great outdoors. Paragliding, Surfing, Kayaking, Fell running, Dinghy sailing and Rock Climbing are just some of the activities available as well as team sports such as rugby, hockey and football.
